If Love Can Sing

If love can sing then love must be eternal!

At the beginning of our relationship, my husband Dietrich and I sent letters to each other via post as there were no cell phones or texting then.

Receiving those most precious letters signed “your eternal husband” was “music to my ears.” I also signed my letters “your eternal wife.”

Later when arriving home after a long day at work, taking me in his arms he would exclaim, “My eternal wife” as I was waiting by the door!

Love is eternal because God’s attributes are unchanging, eternal, and absolute. Then true love is also absolute, eternal, and unchanging. That’s why before Dietrich passed, he said to me “Forever together.”

The same goes for my family. Families are forever.

Calling Our Beloved’s Name

There is meaning in a person’s name.

I remember when Dietrich called my name his voice had a special vibe, touching the deepest part of my heart. My name was becoming so beautiful!

After Dietrich had ascended, one day, when I called his name he replied:

“When you call my name, I can be there, no problem. I like when you call my name because this is a way that I feel loved.”

My good friend Dr. Laurent Ladouce wrote that when he heard his wife pronounce his name for the first time he felt reborn. That is so special!

Today Let’s Just Be Happy and Other Complicated Things

“Mousey, today let us just be happy!” my husband would say from time to time. “Mousey” was our nickname. “Forget everything, take my hand, let’s run to the woods. Look up the sky that is true blue! Look down, the earth is fresh from the rain with multi colored flowers.”

Sometimes Dietrich would come up with a sentence that had deep meaning for the day and more. He was studying complicated things in theology and could condense the whole thing into one sentence, “Let us just be happy” (the purpose of life is joy).

When he was writing his Ph.D. dissertation, he chose the topic “Marriage and family in the Christian tradition.” The German theologian and philosopher, Friedrich Schleiermacher, was his interest. He was one of the first to break through about revolutionary ideas for marriage and family after the Protestant Reformation.

So, Dietrich wrote his dissertation on this subject. Then, years later, one day during a big clean up a copy of his dissertation went to the dumpster. Our daughter Diesa, who was then a college student, said she wanted it. Dietrich went back to the dumpster and retrieved this precious book, which then went back on a shelf.

A few years later I gave it to our editor, Dr. Tanabe. During the summer of 2024 she edited it and later surprised us by publishing it as a book to honor both Friedrich Schleiermacher and Dietrich Seidel.

The Christian foundation has been the bedrock for a happy marriage! Let us all be happy today!

When Our Beloved Spouse Ascends

Birth, marriage, and death are the three main events in one’s life. We all wish to know, is there life after life? When I was a teenager, this was one of my fundamental questions.

The process of dying for my husband Dietrich lasted about a year. When he was in and out of the hospital for chemotherapy and infection, one day out of the blue I asked him bluntly, “Are you scared of dying?” He answered in a very calm voice, “No, it is very natural.”

How could I imagine that death was also something natural for him? I could not even entertain the thought, “What am I going to do without him?” I could not imagine him going away now, not so soon. But somehow his answer satisfied me. Passing into the next world should be something very natural.

He knew there are three stages of life: The first 9 months in the womb is a world of water. In the earthly life we are breathing air. The last stage is in the spirit world. Like the baby who goes through the tunnel of the uterus to be born, we also go through a tunnel to arrive in the next world. There we breathe love.

The hospital discharged Dietrich because there was nothing more they could do, and the hospice care began. Before he passed, I told him:

“Do not worry. I will take care of everything. Things I do not know about. Things I never did before. Things I do not want to do. Things I am afraid of. Things beyond myself. How to figure things out without you around. Things left unfinished. But do not worry I will take care of everything. All the wrongs, I will make right. All the pains, I will heal. All the miseries, I will make them joys. Because you left me with a reservoir of true love.”

The day he passed we began a different relationship together. I continued to have a relationship with Dietrich. I could not see him but we communicated with thoughts and feelings. I sensed his presence at times.

Because my husband and I were so close during our lifetime, we used to share everything; we talked a lot; we were the other half of each other. So of course, I have continued to share many things with him since his passing several years ago.

One night I had a short dream of Dietrich. Someone said, “Dietrich is on the phone.” So I rushed to the phone, thinking he was still in the hospital. When I picked up the phone, I just heard the sound of his voice far, far away. The communication had a bad reception and I could not understand what he was saying. When I woke up, I thought the connection will be better next time.

I talk to him while looking at his picture. I write letters to him. Sometimes he answers me like a deep intuition, an emotion, a subtle presence, a certainty, a love sentence coming at me out of somewhere. Then joy comes into my heart as a river of peace, a sense of protection and affirmation of the eternal. Is it not the cherished hope of humanity that we live forever? That there is life after life? I began writing my thoughts down, in the form of letters to my beloved. And I was able to receive his answers! One time I received:

“I am thrilled that you are writing to me. It is even better than the telephone because it is written, and I can read it again and again, the writings of my most beautiful wife!”

We were able to communicate because True Love travels everywhere. I am not a medium but I have deep intuition and feelings. Through thoughts, inspiration, and knowing, somehow, we did manage to understand each other and send letters back and forth, because of the love we experienced here on earth!

My children also had some experiences where their father visited them, touched their lives in a way that was meaningful to them. For that I am so grateful.

Last year, 2023, we celebrated seven years since Dietrich’s passing. A whole circle has been accomplished.

For me, even if he lives in a different dimension, we work and live together, we talk together, we cry together, we celebrate together, because true love never stops. It transcends barriers; the vibrations and energies go back and forth between the two worlds.

It has been a learning experience for me to live alone but together with Dietrich. I feel his presence every day and he is sending messages. Love travels everywhere. So, for these seven years my mission has been to put his life’s work together and to open more widely the gates of the Kingdom of Heaven.


My new book Letters Beyond the Veil describes my journey after my beloved Dietrich ascended to the eternal realm, including many of the letters we wrote to each other during the years since he passed.

For anyone whose beloved spouse, or someone very close in heart, has already ascended from this earthly realm, I hope this book will offer comfort, hope, and inspiration. One widow who read it said:

“I know many lives will be touched and comforted by this book as she shares practical ways God has given her to navigate through the grief process, as she remembers the special relationship she had and still has with her beloved. … She has encouraged me.”


For couples who will inevitably face the reality that one will ascend and the other will remain on earth, I can testify that although the pain is real, the connection, the love is not lost. We remain connected through the “veil” until we are reunited in the eternal realm.

Healing our Spiritual Cancer

When we were a young family, my husband Dietrich was working on his Ph.D. in theology and philosophy. One of our discussion topics was how to distinguish good and evil! He said that, for his children, it is so important for them (as for all of us) to understand the difference.

In fact, what makes us miserable and unhappy is the misuse of love. If we look around we see it everywhere.

In the Bible we read that God created us in His image, man and woman He created us. We also read that there was temptation, that Eve the first woman was tempted by the serpent Lucifer, then tempted Adam, and the Fall happened! And as a theologian this was not a bedtime story, but a real drama which happened a long, long time ago, but with so many consequences that we see today!

There is a malaise d’amour! Mal d’amour makes a person not want to live anymore, because he or she cannot be loved or love as God intended! God gave us freedom but with freedom comes responsibility. The quest of all philosophies and all theologies is to find happiness.

I quickly learned when I was a young bride that I had to overcome things. I had to grow in wisdom and understanding and not succumb to temptations or tricks from the devil, and not develop a spiritual cancer.

We are living in the “End Times” and Jesus is coming back, or has come back. As Elon Musk is saying, the rapture is coming or is here. Humanity is at a crossroads between good and evil. Let’s choose carefully the Son of Man descending from above, the Only Begotten Son marrying the Only Begotten Daughter, and establishing firmly the Kingdom of God on Earth as it is in Heaven.

In doing so, all spiritual cancers, as well as conflicts and wars and tears, will be eradicated. and humankind, by taking responsibility, will establish the world that everyone is looking for!

The French Politeness Plan

I came back to my hometown after more than 50 years in America, land that I love! Of course I made many visits over the years to my parents and family. My Grandma Elisabeth had 12 brothers and sisters, and somehow we kids and grandkids were close to each other. So we had family reunions and gatherings of all sorts. We also had disapproval and hardships!

Now people called me the American, because I guess I had become one. I feel closer to the American culture than the French one! So, quickly upon my arrival people confronted me with harsh treatment, giving me lessons on politeness.

I went to the cinema to see the famous new film “Comte de Monte Christo.” Some scenes were hard to watch, so I took out my phone to look at my email (just for 10 seconds). After 3 seconds the lady in the next row hit my back with her fist to let me know that was not permitted! Yes, I should have known! I decided to keep quiet and let it go, but I thought she was rude.

Then I took a small bus around town and before I had a chance to count my change I was being screamed at by the driver, “What was I thinking? What about the other people who had an appointment? Are they going to be late because of me?” I resolved to make an effort to be more mindful of others and be prepared next time! Then the coffee shop guy let me have it! He said he is the one deciding the rules not me and I should have my change ready! Why I am encountering so many mean people? What is the reason behind all this?

The last example is when I was trying a new coffee shop in town, determined to find a happy encounter! So here I am taking my coffee again and it was break time for the owner. I was sitting outside so he went ahead and locked all the doors leaving me no way to use the bathroom, which was not funny.

Opposite was another coffee shop, and I thought I have the right to use their bathroom. They are probably friends and will help me use their bathroom. Was I wrong! There the owner was in one corner absorbed in his computer and I was not sure who he was? Perhaps a customer. Do I proceed to the bathroom? Then I was welcomed with a politeness plan applied to all ages! How could I do such a thing? Now I was in real trouble! No excuse could validate my action! How could I be so disgraceful! Now everyone in my hometown seems very upset about my behavior!

What did I learn? France is a country ready to shoot fire at anything and everything. Everyone is on edge and ready to pick a fight! Everyone feels miserable and unloved. I want to be the one to bring new hope here and soothe their pain and misery, because in fact I am the lucky one who received so much love from my Heavenly Parent and from my ideal beloved eternal husband.

It is true we can grow and be better at any age. We can be more polite. We can return meanness with gracefulness and free smiles that come from the heart. Kindness is free and make us feel good and happy.

But the other day I was grumpy, so I am thinking to repair the misunderstanding and prepare a plan of action…to obtain forgiveness. Perhaps I will buy each of them a croissant aux amandes (delicious!) or some popcorn from the USA.

Once we are loved, this makes our heart happy and patient and loving. So we need to recover the strength to become such people again.

Finally, I had one happy encounter, with Christophe in an outdoor coffee shop in Corbier. Christophe is a healer and medium and believe forces of goodness will prevail as well as a brand new world starting in 2025-2026!

Precious Counsel

When we were young and awesome Dietrich and I gave counsels or tips to each other in order to have a better and happy life. I still find some pieces of paper with helpful words!

Here are some of the words of advice from Dietrich, which I always took to heart:

One: Do the little things that mean a lot
(One day out of the blue I shine his shoes)

Two: Talk with a pleasant voice
(Am I frustrated, irritated, upset? impatient? Which kind of energy am I communicating? Is it better if I can learn to control my emotions and my energy and reflect love, forgiveness, and understanding?)

Three: Know how to listen
(Am I here when he needs to talk?

Four: Believe in your husband’s potential
(All men need to be encouraged and valued and trusted)

I will add that money did not buy me love, but service to others brought me happiness.

Also, I love this quote from sister Lucia of Fatima: “The final confrontation between the Lord and Satan will be over family and marriage,” and my husband’s quote “the best therapy in the world is someone who cares about you!”

The Pain Traveling Through Our Family Line

A long time ago I had a good medical doctor, Dr. Teubl. By good I mean caring, welcoming, listening well, loving, emphatic, hopeful, with faith in God and prayerful. The moment you entered his office you sensed the good vibes! The good doctor was a family man, he had eight kids so he could understand all characters and personalities as he was being trained at home.

This good doctor said to me that we can overcome in one generation those problems inherited from seven previous generations. So, the remedy he gave me was a Bible verse to repeat every day. Because you see my problem was emotional not physical. I was born just at the end of World War Two, and my mom who was carrying me lived in anxiety. She had lost the previous child because the midwife happened to be drunk.

I read the following quote online:

Pain travels through family lines until someone is ready to heal it in themselves. By going through the agony of healing you no longer pass the poison chalice onto the generation that follows, it is incredibly important and sacred work.

Doctors often ask about your family history to understand your potential health situation, so we inherit the good and not so good. in today’s modern medicine there are so many different modes of healing: plants, herbs, homeopathy, energy healing, family constellation healing, spiritual healing, angels healing, prayer healing etc. Statistics have shown that a person who is prayed for heals faster, a person who goes to church can add seven years to their life.

Letting go of old stuff like toxic emotions, letting go of toxic shows, letting go of trauma, we need to break the chain. In vibrational healing it is possible even to remove stuck spiritual entities from our cells and raise our vibrations and replenish our energy through prayers, choosing good things, reconnecting with nature. Positive grateful thoughts raise our vibrations. 

Since my husband was a theologian, we talked often about the sins of our ancestors and how we wished to heal all of them during our lifetime, that all generations to come will be healthy and free!

I like these quotes from Hak Ja Han Moon, Mother of Peace, about healing the pain of our ancestors:

Besides bringing the word of God, during my tours I conducted ceremonies to liberate the spirits of those whose lives had been sacrificed. The True Parents’ victory upon the earth has opened the gates of resurrection in the spirit world. The members in Austria, in the spring of 2018, carried out such a ceremony. If you follow the Danube River west from Vienna for about two hours, you come to the village of Mauthausen. Amid its beautiful scenery is a visitors’ center in front of a depressing and sinister-looking building. That building with its towering walls of thick, gray brick brings on tears of bitter grief, for during the Second World War it was a concentration camp. There, the Nazis incarcerated Jews and many others. Many of the almost 200,000 people that passed through Mauthausen met miserable deaths. What remains are not relics from 70 years ago. The true pain one feels there is that of the spirit persons who are stuck in that prison, trapped in their resentment. They can resurrect only after the True Parents of healing and hope can console them and alleviate their bitter resentment and sadness. ~ Hak Ja Han Moon, Mother of Peace, 2020, page 219

Holding onto the frame of the Door of No Return, I shed tears, along with the mayor of Gorée and everyone present, as I prayed for Africa to be freed from the pain and resentment caused by slavery. Liberating those who have ascended differs from comforting those who are alive on earth. Both are possible through the earnest prayer of God’s only begotten Daughter, who carries the mission to save humanity. Facing the silent, grieving walls of the Slave House, I forever broke the miserable chains of Africa’s oppression. ~ Hak Ja Han Moon, Mother of Peace, 2020, page 293

Opening the Gates to the Kingdom of Heaven

When my German spiritual father Reiner Vincenz was a missionary in Paris France, he said to me that he had always loved France very much. That’s why he came here as a missionary to share new spiritual insights revealed by God in order to bring peace and establish the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. He fasted and prayed for France with sincere tears and repentance for my country, loving my people. He also said that the funny thing in France is that there are rules and laws like in every country, but in France there is always another law or rule that contradicts the first one.

I will come back to my spiritual father’s life in another Insight Story. Today I want to share my experience in traveling in Europe, and laws and rules from different places.

In France you cannot imagine the train controller kicking you out of the train if you happen to have no ticket or if you lost your ticket. They will give you another one, plus fees.

In Hungary if you are retired, trains are free. In fact, Gisela, my sister-in-law, and I were planning to travel from Austria through Hungary all the way to Ukraine and the Soviet Union. But this trip never happened.

One day I was traveling from the Vienna woods to Vienna city by a most sleek modern fast train. As I was using the ladies’ room suddenly someone was banging on the door like they were searching for a murderer or something similar. I was so startled and scared. Tt was the most unfriendly train controller I ever met to this day; I remember him well. in Germany and Austria, where they speak German as well, do not think of bending any rule.

One year arriving in Europe through Italy, landing in Torino close enough to my hometown in the French Alps, I had no ticket as I was late. When I took out my American credit card to pay for my ticket, the controller suddenly became ecstatic: “Oh America, the country of my dreams! For you it is free! No need to buy a ticket!” That day the rules did not apply.

Ahh Italy! Les Italians, mes cousins! Savoie was part of Italy in the past, and then became the Kingdom of Savoie, le Royaume de Savoie. That’s why I also have Italian ancestors and love Italy so much. Italian songs make me cry, and the Italian spirit warms my heart. But I became American in heart because my family has been living here for more than forty years. My kids are American, Canadian, and French. That’s why we love the whole world, even the strict Austrians and Germans who need the French to melt their hearts.

We are supposed to love each other and our different cultures and origins. “We love our neighbor as ourself.” We have the same Heavenly Parent, and are we not here to finally open the gates of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.?

That’s why my German spiritual father came to France in the sixties. That’s why my true love is a handsome Austrian. And this is why we grow in our life to become a better loving person who learns to love others, resembling our Heavenly Parent.

Love Letters for Valentine’s Day

During the 40 years of our married life on the earth Dietrich and I wrote many letters to each other, and we kept them all. They reveal the story of our life together, the romantic beginning, the hard struggles, and the true love centered on God that deepened over the years into an eternal, sacred bond.

For Valentine’s Day this year I want to share some excerpts from our letters:

To Dietrich:

“When you looked at me for the first time, I could see God in your eyes. There was so much understanding, goodness, and very deep love. I was so moved at that moment. How happy God must feel when He is at the center of a family. God can express Himself fully through a family, and that man during his lifetime must experience three kinds of love. It will be a wonderful adventure together to reach perfection!”

From Dietrich:

“You are more in my thoughts than my studies, and I still find it hard to fully get back to my class schedule. It feels to me that Heavenly Father performed one of His miracles to brings us two together. My whole outlook on life is changed since I became a married man.”

When we visited our families in Europe, mine in France and Dietrich’s in Austria, we faced many difficulties.

To Dietrich:

“My heart was so very painful the whole day and I know your heart was too. One thing for sure is that our ancestors have to unite together too, and this is a very difficult process. The fights are not only between both of us but between different nations.” 

 Dietrich’s encouraging response:

“We both know that we will find ourselves closer to each other if we both serve the higher purpose. … So much I wish we could always be deeply united with the love of our Heavenly Father. We have to determine every day to walk the path of restoration together and this way unite our family, our ancestors, and our countries. I will be with you in your prayers. I embrace you with all my heart.”

Before he passed, Dietrich told me “I will be always with you, forever together.” And it is true – sometimes I receive a hug from him in the eternal realm!
