I just arrived in Geneva which is named the City of Peace.
We could only fly from sunny San Diego to Newark to Geneva with “United” because first, the name has meaning, and second, they said they “Fly the Friendly Skies.”
So, while we were flying up and away amid some turbulence over the Atlantic, my imagination travels up and I was wondering to myself why I did not yet gather some signatures from all the mayors and ministers and priests of the region to free and liberate the Mother of Peace from prison. The first word of our French republic is “liberty”! if it is unjust we can cry out for justice.
My friend Tia had reserved a hotel she said in the heart of Geneva where we could walk everywhere from there. After renting a car she only had to follow directions to go where we are supposed to go. It was 11 minutes from the airport.
The GPS took us somewhere else. I was sure she was making mistakes because she was following the arrows in the direction of France, which is not the center of Geneva!
The GPS took us to Ferney-Voltaire in France, 11 minutes from the airport to our hotel, 10 minutes walking distance from Château de Voltaire which I had no idea existed.
Tia said we are here for a reason. We were profusely greeted by two jumping for joy receptionists to receive American tourists to their enchanted place that I had to give them my card and bookmark advertising my books. They then became overly excited as they were expecting us.

They directed us to the Château de Voltaire. We could walk right there in the most gorgeous autumn weather. It is the most significant château where Voltaire (the famous French author) lived the remaining twenty years of his life in the calm and serene nature of the French Alps.

What I did not know about this famous man was that he and I shared the same passion about religious freedom. As we walked around his garden we read that at this very place he was gathering all the elite of Europe to talk about religious freedom. Voltaire truly encouraged me today to stand my ground! And to continue the work I am doing.
Famous spiritual beings have a way to tell me they are here with me. I sense some shivers in the back of my head and down my spine. They tell me we are all here with you. We are finishing our job with you. We are so proud of you. You go girl, you are worth it.

With teary eyes I went back to my room number 210 reading Voltaire’s words in the hallways decorating the place.
Truly we were meant to be here! And maybe yes I should collect signatures: I have a driver this time. I can go! Let’s liberate the Mother of Peace, Holy Mother Han.
I just met Mayor Philippe Rollet. He is smart, good hearted, good looking, and he wants his town to be warm so that young and old will be delighted! Since 4 years he has two books of mine on his shelf. I promise to bring the next one in French.
